Summer Events

Summer Events
from 30.00

Our events run 9am-4pm, they include a warm up, team builder and then at least 4 sports during the day.

Throughout the day children are awarded with “Dojo points” which parents can see online on the Class Dojo. This is also where parents can see footage and pictures of our fun activities!

We conclude with an awards ceremony at 3.45pm (parents welcome to watch). Our teams are mixed with pupils from Year 1 - Year 6, all of our sports are built to be inclusive and provide an opportunity for progression. All teams have a coach and a mentor available to assist them with their progression and to ensure that the teams work cohesively.

Autumn Term Clubs

Monday Football Fun is open to girls and boys between Years 3 and 6 who want to improve and enjoy their football.

Open to pupils of all abilities, this club is aimed at developing a range of different football skills and techniques while working together as a team.

Whether it be introductory skills or slightly more complex ones, this club is all about playing and enjoying as much football as possible in a safe and happy environment.

We hand out stickers as rewards for TeamMates who display the specific theme of the week (e.g. fair play). We also reward our TeamMate of the day with a prize.

The children will be working together in inclusive teams led by a coach to develop physical and social skills.

We play a variation of creative non-contact sports, including Ultimate Frisbee, Beanbag Invasion, Netball with a fun twist and other TeamMates favourites.

This is our longest running club at HHJS, and our TeamMates and coaches love the fun and energy involved!

Children are divided into small and inclusive groups to work closely with a coach to practise specific skills of increasing challenge.

The children are also able to develop their teamwork skills and importantly become better TeamMates.
